Iordache Ciupe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iordache Ciupe came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Flávio Paraibano. But to his dismay, Flávio Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jairo Munhoz made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fausto Severo immediately put the ball in play. Frank França succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Reinaldo Dante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iordache Ciupe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank França got free with Iordache Ciupe in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathias Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Mota in the 68th minute of play. AllBlack's Iordache Ciupe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Veiga in the 69th minute of play. Frank França hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, AllBlack's goalkeeper Iordache Ciupe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Barral. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elano Guerra in the 81st minute. Elano Guerra made a great header on Boca Juniors's corner, it was just that AllBlack's Iordache Ciupe managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 86thth minute of the game Reinaldo Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AllBlack's Iordache Ciupe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Dante in the 87th minute of play forced AllBlack's goalkeeper Iordache Ciupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Marques to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, AllBlack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
