Ciro Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Albino Ibar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iordache Ciupe. AllBlack's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Ibar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 31 minutes into the game, Ciro Brasil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Iordache Ciupe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes in the game, Albino Ibar dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Mota in the 37th minute of play. Ciro Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Ciupe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match AKI CORINTHIANS got a corner. AllBlack's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfred Schrijns ran over to the corner to take the kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Ciro Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Ciupe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Albino Ibar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iordache Ciupe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 66 played minutes AllBlack got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Guerra. A collision led to AllBlack getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jairo Munhoz hit a great ball. If Ciro Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Vânderson Castro got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the AllBlack defense, Oscar Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordache Ciupe. The AllBlack fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordache Ciupe should have stopped the shot. AKI CORINTHIANS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
