The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Folhetkadr FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Norberto da Silva sped through Folhetkadr FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaime Negri. Jaime Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto da Silva in the 11th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Xanda FC's Norberto da Silva made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renan Paes scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Fernando Arce took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Negri. Jaime Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Norberto da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 minutes of play, Xanda FC's Jânio Baptista made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto da Silva in the 31st minute of play forced Folhetkadr FC's goalkeeper Jaime Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga's late challenge caught a Xanda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Guilherme Alvarenga helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Folhetkadr FC! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Xanda FC. Umberto Martins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jaime Negri. 0-7. A collision led to Folhetkadr FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gabriel Galvão hit a great ball. When Xanda FC's Norberto da Silva in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Folhetkadr FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Xanda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renan Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jaime Negri made a huge save. If Renan Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Eriberto Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Folhetkadr FC booed when Xanda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Xanda FC's Matías Guedes got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 89 played minutes Xanda FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto da Silva. Jaime Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Xanda FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Folhetkadr FC.
