Spectators: 7631 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 70) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joélson Paulista started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Severo in the 4th minute of play forced Squadra Campeira's goalkeeper João Adolfo Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Squadra Campeira's Felipe Dias made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Ciupe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, AllBlack's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Rocha came free, but Iordache Ciupe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iordache Ciupe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Fernando Sotomayor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Squadra Campeira's João Adolfo Esteves. João Adolfo Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Lorencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Adolfo Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Lorencio ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Rocha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iordache Ciupe. That made the score 2-1 in the 21 minute of play. Pedro Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Rocha got free with Iordache Ciupe in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Felipe Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Dias's late challenge caught a AllBlack's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Dias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Squadra Campeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Dias to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Sotomayor struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. João Adolfo Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AllBlack. The supporters of AllBlack booed when Squadra Campeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedro Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Fausto Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AllBlack's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Sotomayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Adolfo Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Mota in the 45th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedê Mota was the one to do the kick off. In the 61stth minute of the game Dedê Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Squadra Campeira's João Adolfo Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Orlando Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Ciupe was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Fontes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Ciupe saved AllBlack from getting behind. After 70 minutes, Orlando Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Campeira and the AllBlack players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Squadra Campeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Fontes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Squadra Campeira getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Felipe Dias hit a great ball. João Adolfo Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Augusto Lorencio made a precise shot to the right of João Adolfo Esteves. Squadra Campeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Fernando Sotomayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Sotomayor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Adolfo Esteves having to make a save. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, AllBlack's Fernando Sotomayor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Adolfo Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
