Cristiano Petito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 played minutes E.C Vera Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Paiva. In the 80th match minute, Vulcanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Zeca Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cristiano Petito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Enrique Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vulcanos's protests and gave Enrique Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vulcanos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Enrique Marinho hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Hugo Wiarda took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Cristiano Petito to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute of the game Valério Meira made a throw-in which Israel Lages played forward. Cristiano Petito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Bielatowicz in the 94th minute.
