CA Portugália's Rogério Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Åkerberg in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to CA Portugália getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wellington Messias hit a great ball. Amílton Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry Gunn's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Barry Gunn put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Amílton Bezerra. In the 43rd minute Karl-Oskar Åkerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunes FC's Amílton Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Gunn in the 46th minute of play. Carlos Fernando dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Bezerra having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Oskar Åkerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Barry Gunn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Portugália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Gunn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barry Gunn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Amílton Bezerra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Nunes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando dos Santos came free, but Amílton Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CA Portugália booed when Nunes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Åkerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barry Gunns short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Amílton Bezerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rogério Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Åkerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luís Guilherme Messias came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Nunes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guilherme Messias couldn't finish the play. Pedro Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amílton Bezerra was a little too slow when Carlos Fernando dos Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. The CA Portugália supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CA Portugália would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
