With an all-out effort, Calopsita EC's Carlinhos Vasconcelos threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Semih Şentürk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carlinhos Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.C Jardim Brasil's Carlinhos Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semih Şentürk in the 9th minute of play. The Calopsita EC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Calopsita EC's Edu Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. José Pedro Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Calopsita EC's Marcus Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Romero in the 15th minute of play. S.C Jardim Brasil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Luiz Fábio Arósio scored to the left of an out of position Carlinhos Vasconcelos, making the score, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Luiz Fábio Arósio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luisão Marinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlinhos Vasconcelos firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 25th minute of the match Calopsita EC got a corner. S.C Jardim Brasil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio Arósio ran over to the corner to take the kick. João Carlos Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlinhos Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semih Şentürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Carlinhos Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Semih Şentürk went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Josué Novaes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the S.C Jardim Brasil defense, Edu Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Vasconcelos. The S.C Jardim Brasil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. Calopsita EC's Marcus Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Romero in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when João Carlos Romero made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, S.C Jardim Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Santos came free, but Carlinhos Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Vasconcelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Santos's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Diego Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio Arósio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlinhos Vasconcelos. S.C Jardim Brasil's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edu Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Semih Şentürk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Vasconcelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When Luisão Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Calopsita EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Marinho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Marinho in the 72nd minute of play forced S.C Jardim Brasil's goalkeeper Carlinhos Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcus Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Vasconcelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fábio Arósio's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Oséas Zanette's late challenge caught a Calopsita EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséas Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. Carlinhos Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Santos went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Semih Şentürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calopsita EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Edu Santos took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Vasconcelos. Carlinhos Vasconcelos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Calopsita EC had played much better football throughout.
