In the 7th minute Herbert Kolacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiaguinho Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Egídio de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Laçador FC's Herbert Kolacki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bret Harper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 16th minute Herbert Kolacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Guarulhas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zé Paulo Neto hit a great ball. Falcão Baiano succeeded in the game's 20th minute to get real power on a long shot . Guarulhas's Bret Harper hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-3! Bret Harper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Kolacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes Guarulhas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Falcão Baiano who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Sidney Domingues advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 28th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Falcão Baiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarulhas's Bret Harper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Herbert Kolacki made a precise shot to the right of Bret Harper. Guarulhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Chedi Cana took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bret Harper. Bret Harper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 38th minute, Falcão Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bret Harper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. A collision led to Laçador FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Chedi Cana hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho Reis got free with Dieguinho Quintal in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bret Harper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chedi Cana in the 45th minute of play.

Luiz Fábio Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dieguinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the match, Chedi Cana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bret Harper was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Guarulhas defense, Chedi Cana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bret Harper. The Guarulhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bret Harper should have stopped the shot. Chedi Cana charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chedi Cana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chedi Cana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Domingues got free with Bret Harper in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Laçador FC booed when Guarulhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bret Harper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Kolacki in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Kolacki in the 78th minute of play forced Guarulhas's goalkeeper Bret Harper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Herbert Kolacki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bret Harper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Bret Harper was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Falcão Baiano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 82 minute of play. Falcão Baiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bret Harper came out and tried to block the shot, but Falcão Baiano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 85th minute. Herbert Kolacki took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bret Harper. Bret Harper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. In the 92nd minute, Laçador FC's Lovel Pedrero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. A collision led to Guarulhas getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tiaguinho Reis hit a great ball. Laçador FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
