Laurie Cunninghan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráuzio Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Arnaldo Novaes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Tosta Neto F.C's Dráuzio Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf de Koninck in the 75th minute of play. When Frédson de Lara fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tosta Neto F.C's protests and gave Frédson de Lara a yellow card for diving instead. Dráuzio Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf de Koninck in the 93rd minute. The Tosta Neto F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bailão De Munique FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
