Jardel Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Triplo Malte F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jardel Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Triplo Malte F.C.'s Paulo José Mendonça got control of the ball when Kornél Huszti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Leoš Dočkal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo José Mendonça, 1-0. Paulo José Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kornél Huszti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Triplo Malte F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kornél Huszti came free, but Paulo José Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Triplo Malte F.C.'s Paulo José Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Triplo Malte F.C. from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the game, Doru Băieșu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Paulo José Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doru Băieșu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo José Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leoš Dočkal went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Triplo Malte F.C. defense, Jardel Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo José Mendonça. The Triplo Malte F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo José Mendonça should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Leoš Dočkal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo José Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Valle in the 61st minute of play forced Triplo Malte F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo José Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, SNIPER's Doru Băieșu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo José Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Paulo José Mendonça came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by SNIPER's Leoš Dočkal. But to his dismay, Leoš Dočkal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Doru Băieșu sped through Triplo Malte F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo José Mendonça. Triplo Malte F.C.'s Paulo José Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Valle in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SNIPER's Ediberto Tinoco got a free kick in the 77th minute.
