The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernandão Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Goi Balpuesta made a huge save. Vasconline's attack was well implemented in the 7th minute, but when Vitinho Braga was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 9th minute, Mateo Telmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasconline fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 13 minutes, Pawel Witkowski made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's José Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's José Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Mangueira in the 17th minute of play. José Cruz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasconline's Umberto Mangueira. But to his dismay, Umberto Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 20 minutes, Pawel Witkowski made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's José Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF defense, Vitinho Braga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Cruz. The Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Cruz should have stopped the shot. José Cruz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasconline's Pawel Witkowski. But to his dismay, Pawel Witkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. José Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Braga in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Pawel Witkowski made a precise shot to the right of José Cruz. Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Eugênio Santana hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Mateo Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pawel Witkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Agostinho Campidelis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's zone, Mateo Telmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Cruz came out of the goal and Mateo Telmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Telmo came free, but José Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes, Mateo Telmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasconline and the Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vasconline getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mateo Telmo hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Raimundo Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goi Balpuesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Braga came free, but José Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Raimundo Vasconcelos put it in 1-10 from a short distance just to the right of Goi Balpuesta. After 70 played minutes Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Barreto. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's zone, Vitinho Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Cruz came out of the goal and Vitinho Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Umberto Mangueira got free with José Cruz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitinho Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. José Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandão Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Raimundo Vasconcelos hit a great ball. José Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitinho Braga went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score. Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF's José Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio FBPA - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. After 92nd play minutes Pawel Witkowski shot 1-12, a short shot which went by José Cruz and just under the crossbar into goal. Oséas Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasconline's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
