Spectators: 7334 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raúl Moreira kicked off to start the match. Pereiros's Guga Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Cordeiro in the 4th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Antuérpia SC's Guga Bezerra threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Cordeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Antuérpia SC's Luiz Jacinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guga Bezerra. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 12th match minute, Antuérpia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Indar to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Antuérpia SC's Aloísio Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guga Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Aloísio Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Caetano Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caetano Cordeiro in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guga Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Aloísio Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guga Bezerra. Pereiros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aloísio Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Aloísio Siqueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Guga Bezerra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aloísio Siqueira scored 5-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guga Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antuérpia SC's Caetano Cordeiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodrigo Fantini in the 39 minute of the game. Caetano Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joélson Novaes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Aloísio Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antuérpia SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloísio Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloísio Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luizinho de Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antuérpia SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 54th minute Aloísio Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Antuérpia SC booed when Pereiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Caetano Cordeiro notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Pereiros's Guga Bezerra. Guga Bezerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aloísio Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guga Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes of play, Antuérpia SC's Aloísio Siqueira made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Pereiros getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Carlinhos Sabóia hit a great ball. Antuérpia SC made a substitution. Andrézinho Souza replaced Aloísio Siqueira. 76 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Antuérpia SC's Caetano Cordeiro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caetano Cordeiro in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Bezerra saved Pereiros from getting behind. Caetano Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Bezerra having to interfere. Sidney Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Guga Bezerra came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Antuérpia SC's Mala Kicia. But to his dismay, Mala Kicia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0.
