In the 67th minute, Navegantes Sporting's Kauan Souza seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kauan Souza the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Navegantes Sporting protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kauan Souza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 67 minutes into the game, one of Navegantes Sporting:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Maximino Curcio, was totally fooled by Monumento Sports's Davi Vianna, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Navegantes Sporting's goalkeeper Maximino Curcio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucca Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Maximino Curcio made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Monumento Sports's Lucca Gol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximino Curcio. Maximino Curcio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Monumento Sports's Dieguinho Sá was substituted for Dé Gomes. In the 87th minute, Henrique Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Curcio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Maximino Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th play minute Henrique Magalhães came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximino Curcio. 2-7. The Monumento Sports supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monumento Sports would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
