Jimmy Van dooren didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Vasconcelos in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Fontes saved Salvador Futebol Clube from getting behind. Jimmy Van dooren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Vasconcelos scored 2-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Vasconcelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Fontes was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Salvador Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Percy Quirino. Salvador Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
