Salvador Futebol Clube's Gil Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Siqueira in the 8th minute of play. With 10 minutes on the clock, Anderson Soares commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Salvador Futebol Clube booed when Antuérpia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Luizinho de Toledo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Salvador Futebol Clube's Gil Fontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aloísio Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fontes having to interfere. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-8 when Mala Kicia sped through Salvador Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil Fontes. Salvador Futebol Clube made a substitution. Amílton Perez replaced Max Scholl. 82 minutes into the match, Mala Kicia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Fontes. Andrézinho Souza took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Fontes. Gil Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-10. After 97 minutes, Mala Kicia made it 2-11 with a short kick to the right side. Salvador Futebol Clube's Gil Fontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antuérpia SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
