The corner ended in Manuel Meireles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Salvador Futebol Clube's Gil Fontes did a great save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilson Neves to make the kick off. Jonas Meirelles was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Cássio Porto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cássio Porto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Betinho Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 played minutes Opera OMNES got a freekick which was hit by Alex Miranda. In the 73rd minute, Wilian Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Salvador Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Meirelles came out and tried to block the shot, but Cássio Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 97th minute. Salvador Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
