Jorginho Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 2nd minute Jorginho Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Jorginho Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. RACING FBPA's Duarte Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Souza in the 12th minute of play. Doriva da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 13th minute of the match. Doriva da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jorginho Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. After 15 minutes Antuérpia SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Vilaprenyo who took care of the corner kick. RACING FBPA's Rigoberto Vilaprenyo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Doriva da Fonseca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Antuérpia SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kia Cerato hit a great ball. Doriva da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Rigoberto Vilaprenyo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doriva da Fonseca. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Jorginho Campidelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doriva da Fonseca having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorginho Campidelis got free with Doriva da Fonseca in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Jacinto in the 25th minute of play forced RACING FBPA's goalkeeper Duarte Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to RACING FBPA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ma Yong Zhi hit a great ball. After 28th play minutes Andrézinho Souza shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Duarte Carneiro and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 35th minute Andrézinho Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, RACING FBPA's Doriva da Fonseca threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorginho Campidelis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorginho Campidelis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antuérpia SC's Doriva da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 51st minute of play. If Jorginho Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Rigoberto Vilaprenyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RACING FBPA's Duarte Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Cordeiro in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute Caetano Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 61st minute of play forced Antuérpia SC's goalkeeper Doriva da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva da Fonseca having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Luiz Jacinto made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. RACING FBPA's Duarte Carneiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Ma Yong Zhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lain Plata hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lain Plata during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes RACING FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Lain Plata. 85 minutes into the match, RACING FBPA's goalkeeper Duarte Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Souza. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Antuérpia SC's goalkeeper Doriva da Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RACING FBPA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. RACING FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Vilaprenyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rigoberto Vilaprenyo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the RACING FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Vilaprenyo couldn't finish the play. RACING FBPA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Antuérpia SC for a fine match.
