Spectators: 7722 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Perivaldo Messias made the kick off which started today's match. 8 minutes into the match, cavine-- f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Fonseca came free, but Valmir Fahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieguinho Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Recife in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Messias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dieguinho Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Augusto Recife hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, cavine-- f.c.'s Natanael Sousa got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute, G A I A's Ian Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Ian Amaral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valmir Fahl. That made the score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. Valmir Fahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Lopez in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match G A I A got a corner. cavine-- f.c.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Paiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to G A I A's Basílio Ferraz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of cavine-- f.c. booed when G A I A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes, cavine-- f.c.'s Fynn Vogt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dieguinho Nunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in cavine-- f.c. reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Messias in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dieguinho Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute cavine-- f.c. were awarded a corner. Fynn Vogt went to the cornerflag to take it. cavine-- f.c.'s Fynn Vogt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dieguinho Nunes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute Ian Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valmir Fahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wellington Albuquerque hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Dieguinho Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Messias in the 47th minute of play.

The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dieguinho Nunes was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Wellington Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. cavine-- f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieguinho Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Perivaldo Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieguinho Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Perivaldo Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 66 in the game by Perivaldo Messias from a close distance when the talented Dieguinho Nunes managed to make a qualified save. G A I A's players were relieved. Perivaldo Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dieguinho Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Augusto Recife in the 70th minute. Valmir Fahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, cavine-- f.c.'s Perivaldo Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dieguinho Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. cavine-- f.c.'s Mathias Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mathias Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored cavine-- f.c.'s protests and gave Mathias Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. Mathias Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 played minutes G A I A got a freekick which was hit by Yuri de Toledo. Zé Augusto Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dieguinho Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Messias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Dieguinho Nunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. G A I A had won after a very even match.
