Valdemar Pena's late challenge caught a Trem das Onze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Pena helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Santos da Bahia Fc's Valdemar Pena got a free kick in the 8th minute. Valdemar Pena hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Celso Sá received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bala Mole came out and tried to block the shot, but Celso Sá slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Joachim Beckers kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Celso Sá made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Santos da Bahia Fc's Bala Mole tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celso Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bala Mole read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Santos da Bahia Fc getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Geovani Linares hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Trem das Onze's goal looked a bit too open when André Albuquerque came free, but Théodore Robillard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trem das Onze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tony Terra was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos da Bahia Fc's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Santos da Bahia Fc's Tony Terra to fire away a dangerous shot which Théodore Robillard despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, André Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos da Bahia Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but André Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Théodore Robillard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Sá made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Santos da Bahia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Bala Mole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Sá in the 55th minute of play. 龙桑傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by André Albuquerque got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Albuquerque got free with Théodore Robillard in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos da Bahia Fc were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Trem das Onze's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tony Terra took the corner. The corner led Santos da Bahia Fc's Luís Paulo Teixeira to fire away a dangerous shot which Théodore Robillard despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luís Paulo Teixeira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Théodore Robillard 71 minutes into the match. Celso Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bala Mole having to interfere. Trem das Onze's Celso Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Trem das Onze's Celso Sá in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos da Bahia Fc's goalie prevented a goal. If Celso Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos da Bahia Fc's André Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Sá in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bala Mole prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes, Joachim Beckers made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Santos da Bahia Fc's Bala Mole tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Albuquerque got free with Théodore Robillard in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Trem das Onze players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
