Valdir Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Toa Toa 4EVER booed when EC Rodrigus MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, EC Rodrigus MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Galvão came free, but Di Feng Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Di Feng Feng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílton de Barros went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in EC Rodrigus MZ's zone, Bernardinho Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Di Feng Feng came out of the goal and Bernardinho Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Deivid Galvão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Di Feng Feng was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Oséias de Sena hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Deivid Galvão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Di Feng Feng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rogério Garcia hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. EC Rodrigus MZ's Di Feng Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Chaves in the 47th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Batista in the 48th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Túlio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to EC Rodrigus MZ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Nuno Paulista hit a great ball. Pedro Guilherme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Túlio Silva having to make a save. Di Feng Feng had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Deivid Galvão's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Oséias de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Trevisan was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joélson dos Santos couldn't finish the play. Di Feng Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Galvão in the 90th minute of the match. Pedro Guilherme's late challenge caught a Toa Toa 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Galvão. Joélson dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Toa Toa 4EVER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EC Rodrigus MZ throughout the match.
