The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Varela got free with Ricky Blake in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelinho de Salles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Ricky Blake skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Trem das Onze's Ricky Blake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho de Salles in the 24th minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Marcelinho de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trem das Onze's Ricky Blake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Afonso Severo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricky Blake skillfully saved the ball. Afonso Severo's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ricky Blake on his right side and into the goal. 67 minutes into the game it was 8-0. In the 70th minute, Leonardo Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itajaí Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Marcelinho de Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricky Blake having to make a save. When Hugo Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trem das Onze's protests and gave Hugo Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Itajaí Football Club booed when Trem das Onze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricky Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho de Salles in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Marcelinho de Salles notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Trem das Onze's Ricky Blake. Ricky Blake was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itajaí Football Club fully deserved thier win.
