SHIRO F.C.'s Dagoberto Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Pimenta came free, but Gernando Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Adolfo Pimenta was the one to do the kick off. Gernando Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romário Alvarenga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgílio Ferraz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. In the 58th minute Alan Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gernando Paes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, SHIRO F.C.'s Dagoberto Brasil made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gernando Paes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, João Adolfo Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Gernando Paes. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgílio Ferraz got free with Romário Alvarenga in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
