Carlos Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Denis Cloyo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FairPlay FC's Carlos Monteiro. Carlos Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in FairPlay FC's zone, Denis Cloyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Monteiro came out of the goal and Denis Cloyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FairPlay FC defense, Denis Cloyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Monteiro. The FairPlay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Monteiro should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Denis Cloyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Abel Dracena's late challenge caught a Jαʅιɱ HαႦҽყ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jαʅιɱ HαႦҽყ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Cloyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Jαʅιɱ HαႦҽყ FC were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Cloyo to make the kick off. The FairPlay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Carlos Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilson Sergipano went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-15 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, German Canon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jαʅιɱ HαႦҽყ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-17. After 92nd play minutes German Canon shot 0-18, a short shot which went by Carlos Monteiro and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Bruno Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jαʅιɱ HαႦҽყ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
