William das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Cwojdak in the 11th minute of the match. William das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Gwidon Cwojdak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Nascimento came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, 余永川 notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of São Carlos's William das Neves. William das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute Gwidon Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Matías Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William das Neves came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川. But to his dismay, 余永川 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Gwidon Cwojdak got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William das Neves came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Oswaldo Maranhense. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 37th minute, Gwidon Cwojdak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. São Carlos's William das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Cwojdak in the 46th minute of play. 余永川 took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William das Neves. William das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugênio Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Pimenta in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, 余永川 put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of William das Neves. São Carlos's William das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save São Carlos from getting a goal against them. Gwidon Cwojdak scored 0-12 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 67 minutes, 余永川 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but 余永川 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. São Carlos's William das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Maranhense in the 69th minute of play. Oswaldo Maranhense succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-13 in the 75th playminute. With a little luck, São Carlos's William das Neves got control of the ball when Cristi Saron tried to sneak it across the goal line. São Carlos's William das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save São Carlos from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the game, Enrique de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. William das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Brock Friend replaced Gwidon Cwojdak. If Cristi Saron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Cruzeiro Esporte Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São Carlos.
