With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shen Jun Peng in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Melo saved Patro F C from getting behind. Clemente Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Jun Peng in the 36th minute of play forced Patro F C's goalkeeper Noel Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shen Jun Peng took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Melo. Noel Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 41st minute, Fernando Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patro F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesinha Vides to make the kick off. Shen Jun Peng might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shen Jun Peng ran back to his position shaking his head. Noel Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Jun Peng in the 51st minute of the match. With 54 minutes on the clock, Sílvio Luís Dracena commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Xinosfreba 13 booed when Patro F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Shen Jun Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patro F C's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Xinosfreba 13 had won, even though Patro F C had held more of the ball.
