Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ripway's Matías Carioca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hariharan Jagur in the 4th minute of play forced São Carlos's goalkeeper William das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Aílton Leme notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of São Carlos's William das Neves. William das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 minutes of play, Ripway's Aílton Leme made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Leme in the 18th minute of play forced São Carlos's goalkeeper William das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Leme in the 22nd minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 29th minute, but Rômulo Vander got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ripway hanging dry this time. 30 minutes into the match, Matías Carioca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William das Neves. São Carlos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Carioca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 33 minutes of play, Ripway's Hariharan Jagur made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! William das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Carioca's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Matías Carioca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ripway fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. William das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alessandro Matos made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Matías Carioca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of William das Neves. Matías Carioca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. William das Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aílton Leme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 61 minute of play. Alessandro Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rômulo Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Matos in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Lenílson Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Carlos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ripway the free kick. In the 69th match minute, São Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Mendes to maneuver through the defense. William das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hariharan Jagur in the 71st minute of play. Matías Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William das Neves having to make a save. 87 minutes into the match, São Carlos's goal looked a bit too open when Hariharan Jagur came free, but William das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ripway's William das Neves threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matías Carioca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 92 played minutes São Carlos got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ortiz. Luís Eduardo Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matías Carioca took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William das Neves. William das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. After having played for 97 minutes, Hariharan Jagur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hariharan Jagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ripway left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São Carlos.
