Baltazar Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Maruda having to interfere. Zbyszko Maruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartxot Villacorta in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Gartxot Villacorta put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zbyszko Maruda. Luiz Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Nildo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erivaldo Mazza during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erivaldo Mazza hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Gartxot Villacorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Maruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Netto got free with Zbyszko Maruda in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tanabi.E.C.'s Gartxot Villacorta in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Catalunha's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Miranda struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Zbyszko Maruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tanabi.E.C.. 38 minutes into the game, Tanabi.E.C.'s Gartxot Villacorta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbyszko Maruda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Baltazar Netto made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Gartxot Villacorta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tanabi.E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gartxot Villacorta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszko Maruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbyszko Maruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartxot Villacorta in the 56th minute of play. Zbyszko Maruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gartxot Villacorta went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. José Augusto Paulista hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Baltazar Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Maruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Baltazar Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zbyszko Maruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Netto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes FC Catalunha got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Baiano. Zbyszko Maruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Netto went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th match minute, FC Catalunha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, FC Catalunha's goal looked a bit too open when Gartxot Villacorta came free, but Zbyszko Maruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Baltazar Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Catalunha's Zbyszko Maruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltazar Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Zbyszko Maruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, FC Catalunha's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Netto came free, but Zbyszko Maruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanabi.E.C. were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after FC Catalunha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kryspin Sniegowski took the corner. Gartxot Villacorta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Tanabi.E.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
