Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Valle in the 51st minute of play forced Villa Carrao's goalkeeper Nico Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to Internacional's Felippe Linhares getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Osmar Branco did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Nico Dante 63 minutes into the match. Nico Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osmar Branco's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Rosado came free, but Odoy Pradhana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Nico Dante managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Internacional's Osmar Branco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Internacional's zone, Puriša Orahovac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 81 played minutes Villa Carrao got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Rosado. 82 minutes into the game, Osmar Branco lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Nico Dante. Odoy Pradhana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Cheng Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes Internacional's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Gabino who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Guilherme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Dante having to interfere.
