An unexpectedly hard shot by Omid Kaulbach in the 6th minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Wágner Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s Nistor Panaiteanu got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mauro Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dr Lecter SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wágner Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wágner Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omid Kaulbach in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capivariano F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Romero was slow to take the kick. During this time Dr Lecter SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mauro Romero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capivariano F.C.'s Wágner Antunes did a great save. When Válbson Batista fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dr Lecter SC's protests and gave Válbson Batista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Batista to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s Nistor Panaiteanu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Tinoco in the 38th minute of play. Wágner Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Dr Lecter SC were awarded a corner. Mauro Romero went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Romero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wágner Antunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Tinoco in the 53rd minute of play. Thomas Berg hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mauro Romero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wágner Antunes. Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frédson Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Mauro Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Wágner Antunes made a huge save. When Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Capivariano F.C. made a substitution. Bernard Juroszek replaced Ernani Paraíba. In the 80th minute, Frédson Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lukas Martinsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Capivariano F.C. had won after a very even match.
