An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Angelsø in the 6th minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Elija might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gian Weidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Elija ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Caetano da Silveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ciro Elija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian Weidt having to interfere. Ciro Elija might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gian Weidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Elija ran back to his position shaking his head. Giovana F C's Gian Weidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Elija in the 15th minute of play. Tadeu Xavier struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Caetano da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giovana F C. Ciro Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jorginho Zanette fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giovana F C's protests and gave Jorginho Zanette a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Giovana F C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jorginho Zanette hit a great ball. Ciro Elija took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gian Weidt. Gian Weidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Giovana F C's Cullen Jobson got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ciro Elija took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gian Weidt. Gian Weidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Giovana F C's zone, Ciro Elija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gian Weidt came out of the goal and Ciro Elija tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tadeu Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Giovana F C getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Reynaldo Orlanda hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Ciro Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gian Weidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelsicha's João Paulo de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Angelsø made a kick off. Rodrigo Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 52nd minute of play. Ciro Elija blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gian Weidt having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Zheng Yan Cheng came free, but Caetano da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Elija in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gian Weidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovana F C's Gian Weidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Giovana F C from getting a goal against them. Chelsicha's Bebeto Maia was substituted for Vânderson Cafuringa. Gian Weidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Elija went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gian Weidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Angelsø in the 81st minute of play. Caetano da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tadeu Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano da Silveira having to interfere. The Chelsicha supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chelsicha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
