Spectators: 7981 (Terracing: 5988, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 157) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horácio Siqueira got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Xu Li Sang made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes. TIGRE DE OURO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Carlos Alberto Prestes came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny. But to his dismay, Dobromir Zagrodny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 11 minutes into the match, Xu Li Sang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes. TIGRE DE OURO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xu Li Sang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 15th match minute, TIGRE DE OURO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Braga to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Li Sang in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Ruy de Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TIGRE DE OURO's Carlos Alberto Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jovens Democratas MZC's attentive Laerte Bittencourt managed to snatch the ball when Marcus Braga made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Durval de Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Alberto Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 32 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Alberto Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chico de Sousa scored 0-6 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xu Li Sang struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Carlos Alberto Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jovens Democratas MZC. Chico de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Carlos Alberto Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, TIGRE DE OURO's Luciano Pinheiro got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico de Sousa in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Prestes saved TIGRE DE OURO from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Chico de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Chico de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcinho de Lima hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in TIGRE DE OURO's zone, Chico de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Prestes came out of the goal and Chico de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. Chico de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Leonardo Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. A collision led to TIGRE DE OURO getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Marcinho de Lima hit a great ball. Durval de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Ruy de Brito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Alberto Prestes. The goal made the score 0-9. Xu Li Sang in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Chico de Sousa put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes. Marco van Bastens short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Carlos Alberto Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marco van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Alberto Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Marco van Basten came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Jovens Democratas MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco van Basten couldn't finish the play. Marco van Basten succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 80th playminute. With a little luck, TIGRE DE OURO's Carlos Alberto Prestes got control of the ball when Marco van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xu Li Sang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Prestes having to interfere. 0-12 became the score in the 87th minute when Marco van Basten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chico de Sousa had several of the TIGRE DE OURO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-13 score and a disappointed Carlos Alberto Prestes as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 92nd minute, Horácio Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco van Basten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Jovens Democratas MZC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TIGRE DE OURO throughout the match.
