Spectators: 7990 (Terracing: 5995, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 157) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vatan Kambay kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Kambay in the 3rd minute of play forced TIGRE DE OURO's goalkeeper Marcinho de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, TIGRE DE OURO's goal looked a bit too open when Andriy Shevchenko came free, but Marcinho de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Andriy Shevchenko made a precise shot to the right of Marcinho de Lima. TIGRE DE OURO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 12 minutes, Matías Pimenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.D Leônico and the TIGRE DE OURO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to A.D Leônico getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Matías Pimenta hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Andriy Shevchenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Leônico's supporters rose to their feet, but Andriy Shevchenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vatan Kambay sped through TIGRE DE OURO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcinho de Lima. Osmar dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho de Lima having to interfere. Marcinho de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Kambay in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, TIGRE DE OURO's Elder Luz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Luiz de Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Luiz de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lui Vandré in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match TIGRE DE OURO got a corner. A.D Leônico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horácio Siqueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Horácio Siqueira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this André Luiz de Barros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 27 played minutes A.D Leônico got a freekick which was hit by Andriy Shevchenko. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vatan Kambay sped through TIGRE DE OURO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcinho de Lima. In the 32nd minute, Vatan Kambay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Horácio Siqueira notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of A.D Leônico's André Luiz de Barros. André Luiz de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Vatan Kambay put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Marcinho de Lima. After a rather tough play, TIGRE DE OURO's Nico Falcão got a free kick in the 39th minute. Marcinho de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vatan Kambay's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vatan Kambay in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho de Lima saved TIGRE DE OURO from getting behind. Frederico Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Horácio Siqueira made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Elder Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andriy Shevchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcinho de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to A.D Leônico getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tony Mendes hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes, TIGRE DE OURO's Horácio Siqueira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Luiz de Barros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TIGRE DE OURO reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vatan Kambay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcinho de Lima. That made the score 1-6 in the 78 minute of play. Marcinho de Lima was a little too slow when Vatan Kambay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vatan Kambay in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.D Leônico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
