After taking down the ball on Austra VFC's corner Maxim Vasilitã fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rubinho Lago quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers CJ Lewandowski in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hudson Gaúcho saved Austra VFC from getting behind. The corner ended in Gaizka Mendieta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellington Pires in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Lewandowski in the 24th minute of play. Cafu dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, CJ Lewandowski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho. The Austra VFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wellington Pires made the kick off in the second half. When CJ Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the La Società Sport Osasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Sócrates Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austra VFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Società Sport Osasco the free kick.
