Richard Fontes came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by EDI MZB's Teofil Pisarcik. But to his dismay, Teofil Pisarcik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Richard Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes in the game Anísio da Rocha did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ma Lang Liang. Éder Passos hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Zé Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Pisarcik in the 11th minute of the match. Teofil Pisarcik scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sumaré Sport Club were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after EDI MZB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jessica Xerifão took the corner. The corner led Sumaré Sport Club's Jessica Xerifão to fire away a dangerous shot which Osvaldo Neto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Luís Fabiano de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumaré Sport Club's protests and gave Luís Fabiano de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Chmelyk in the 24th minute of the match. Jessica Xerifão made a great header on Sumaré Sport Club's corner, it was just that EDI MZB's Osvaldo Neto managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 28th minute Hortêncio Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Trigo. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by EDI MZB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jessica Xerifão was slow to take the kick. During this time Sumaré Sport Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of EDI MZB's goalie and right to Severo Gomesano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. EDI MZB's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Pisarcik in the 33rd minute of play forced Sumaré Sport Club's goalkeeper Richard Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ma Lang Liang in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Fontes saved Sumaré Sport Club from getting behind. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Natanael Sá with Tao Li Zhen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Trigo got free with Osvaldo Neto in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute Sumaré Sport Club were awarded a corner. Jessica Xerifão went to the cornerflag to take it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

EDI MZB's Miguel Guerra was substituted for Éder Passos. Richard Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Mandrak got free with Richard Fontes in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Pisarcik, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Sumaré Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Zé Trigo. Teofil Pisarcik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Pisarcik in the 66th minute of play forced Sumaré Sport Club's goalkeeper Richard Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Sumaré Sport Club's attentive Jessica Xerifão managed to snatch the ball when Anísio da Rocha made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Sumaré Sport Club's Richard Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ma Lang Liang in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goalkeeper Richard Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Mandrak. In the 81st minute EDI MZB were awarded a corner. Ma Lang Liang went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on EDI MZB's corner Ma Lang Liang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Richard Fontes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Miguel Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded EDI MZB left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sumaré Sport Club.
