In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th match minute, Scragbadun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Araújo to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Scragbadun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Orange came free, but Percy Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Scragbadun FC defense, Zico Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percy Paiva. The Scragbadun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percy Paiva should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Zico Orange put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Percy Paiva. A sloppy throw-in by Tiaguinho Torres in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Casemiro Orange. Zico Orange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Paiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Percy Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Orange in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Aldair Orange went to the cornerflag to take it. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tiaguinho Torres got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Augusto Custódio. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes Scragbadun FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldair Orange who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zinédine Orange getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Zico Orange notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva. Percy Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Percy Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Orange, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Eusébio Orange struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Percy Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zico Orange in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Paiva saved Scragbadun FC from getting behind. In the 52ndth minute of the game Zico Orange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th match minute, Scragbadun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Severo to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Tiaguinho Torres in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Casemiro Orange. 63 minutes into the game, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Percy Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Orange in the 66th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Zico Orange put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Percy Paiva. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Benedito Matorin was substituted for Eusébio Orange. When Zico Orange came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zico Orange couldn't finish the play. Percy Paiva didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. With a left leg Edinho Pirani saved Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Scragbadun FC.
