Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin in the 2nd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Ferrando came free, but Lütfi Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lütfi Kutlubay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin ran back to his position shaking his head. FC BARCELONA's Ian Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zanko Shosev in the 14th minute of play. Lütfi Kutlubay was a little too slow when Gaston Bitze got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 20th minute, Faustino Ferrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, FC BARCELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin in the 24th minute of play. FC BARCELONA were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yetkiner Refah took the corner. After 27 minutes Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yetkiner Refah who took care of the corner kick. If Zanko Shosev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Zanko Shosev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Zanko Shosev notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC BARCELONA's Ian Nogueira. Ian Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th match minute, FC BARCELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Prieto to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lütfi Kutlubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Bitze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lütfi Kutlubay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin came free, but Lütfi Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zanko Shosev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC BARCELONA's Ian Nogueira got control of the ball when Zanko Shosev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus Salles to maneuver through the defense. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Sal Darby was substituted for Richard da Fonseca. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's João Carlos Mesquita was substituted for Mateus Salles. After 67 played minutes Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa got a freekick which was hit by Thibault Delanoë. 69 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin came free, but Lütfi Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Gaston Bitze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Kutlubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfi Kutlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Zanko Shosev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Bitze kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When FC BARCELONA's Gaston Bitze in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalie prevented a goal. Lütfi Kutlubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Ferrando in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jan-Pieter De Poorter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Joélson Massa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ian Nogueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa reached it. Despite being the better team, FC BARCELONA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
