In the 11th minute Reynaldo da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Kan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Jurano FC defense, Caetano Van Dijck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Kan. The Jurano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Kan should have stopped the shot. Oliver Kan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 87 minutes, Duda Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jurano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duda Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Jurano FC's Válbson Donatello seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Válbson Donatello the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jurano FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Válbson Donatello had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 89 played minutes Jurano FC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Donatello. Jurano FC's Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Peralta in the 91st minute of play.
