Vicente Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo Freire went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rômulo Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Jumentus Rock Club defense, Ronny Brenon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Ramos. The Jumentus Rock Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Ramos should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Vagner Løve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Ronny Brenon took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Oswaldo Ramos to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the match, PiuPiu's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Freire came free, but Vicente Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, PiuPiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Qin Xu Jing hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Jumentus Rock Club getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arne Kruse hit a great ball. When Fernandão Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the PiuPiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandão Zonta couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gísli Langnickel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Soeiro in the 51st minute of play.
