Torino SSA made a substitution. Sílvio Luiz Veloso replaced Maximiliano Chorche. In the 36th minute, one of Torino SSA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Torino SSA. AA GUARULHOS's attentive Luís Paulo Catarinense managed to snatch the ball when Vinícius Galvan made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Karin Benzema came free, but Benjamin de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
