Legion of Boom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juarês Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Juarês Melo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Legion of Boom's Abdi Ufki. Abdi Ufki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Juarês Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdi Ufki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juarês Melo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdi Ufki having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Legion of Boom's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Melo came free, but Abdi Ufki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdi Ufki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Melo in the 34th minute of play. Per-Olof Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Alagoano in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Legion of Boom booed when Messejana SportClub - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juarês Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Uster took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdi Ufki. Abdi Ufki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Messejana SportClub - DMZ. Abdi Ufki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Xi Ning in the 71st minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Legion of Boom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Uster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Abdi Ufki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Legion of Boom's Abdi Ufki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Uster in the 90th minute of play. Yuri Alberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Ufki having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavinho Neiva during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Flavinho Neiva got a free kick in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Messejana SportClub - DMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
