In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Legion of Boom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Betão Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Pombal having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Legion of Boom's Luís Fernando de Alcântara stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Arnold Meijers stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing EC AliensCrazy 2023 of the goal. The supporters of EC AliensCrazy 2023 booed when Legion of Boom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, EC AliensCrazy 2023's Percival Goiano got a free kick in the 45th minute. Renatinho Soeiro's late challenge caught a EC AliensCrazy 2023's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renatinho Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Renatinho Soeiro got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Betão Fantini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. Legion of Boom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fernando de Alcântara to make the kick off. When Zé Augusto do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EC AliensCrazy 2023's protests and gave Zé Augusto do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Zé Augusto do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EC AliensCrazy 2023's Zé Augusto do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão Fantini in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandinho Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Legion of Boom from getting a goal against them. Fernandinho Pombal stood somewhat misplaced when Betão Fantini came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 84 minute. In the 93rd minute, Zé Augusto do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, EC AliensCrazy 2023's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Vargas came free, but Arnold Meijers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fernando de Alcântara hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over EC AliensCrazy 2023 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Legion of Boom throughout the match.
