An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Lendaa in the 21st minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Barra Gøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Stamen Ringov. In the 29th minute of the match Galo na Veia FC™ got a corner. Nova Venécia-ES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Umberto Moreno ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ferdinand Profeta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Nova Venécia-ES's Mauro Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Rosado in the 34th minute of play. Barra Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Flavinho Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Vitório Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barra Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Nascimento in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Nova Venécia-ES's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavinho Rosado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavinho Rosado to strike the kick off in the second half. Barra Gøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Nascimento in the 51st minute of the match. Natã Quintal took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barra Gøl. Barra Gøl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 56th minute, Nova Venécia-ES's Júlio Valladares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Júlio Valladares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nova Venécia-ES protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Júlio Valladares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Nova Venécia-ES getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Júlio Valladares hit a great ball. Nova Venécia-ES's Taka Pika was substituted for Davi Lendaa. The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umberto Moreno struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Mauro Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo na Veia FC™. Mauro Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Rosado in the 61st minute of play. Galo na Veia FC™'s Barra Gøl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Galo na Veia FC™ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Nascimento in the 66th minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Barra Gøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barra Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Paranaense came free, but Barra Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Barreto came out of the goal and Flavinho Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th match minute, Galo na Veia FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Branco to maneuver through the defense. Nova Venécia-ES played a much better game than Galo na Veia FC™ and deserved their victory. The Galo na Veia FC™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
