Ging Root could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Barra Gøl made a huge save. In the 7th minute, Gino Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Kaká Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute Arthur Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barra Gøl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino Araújo went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Kaká Favoretto got a free kick in the 38th minute. Arthur Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barra Gøl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Guedes was the one to do the kick off. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Décio Maia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amauri Terra in the 59 minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Kaká Favoretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Kaká Favoretto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Rosado in the 68th minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kaká Favoretto hit a great ball. Richard Nixon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Rosado came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Arthur Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barra Gøl was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Amauri Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Gino Araújo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barra Gøl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 88th match minute, Galo na Veia FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Rosado to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ had won after a very even match.
