Misericordia EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oséas Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Paulo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdomiro Luz was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Zico Maravilha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misericordia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zico Maravilha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Graf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Leão came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Oséas Gomes. Aberama Gold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Leão. Misericordia EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pedro Luís Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Graf was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Luiz Guilherme Guerra hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. C.A. RIBEIRÃO's Max Graf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. RIBEIRÃO from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A. RIBEIRÃO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Misericordia EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
