The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Moreira got free with Vicente Barbosa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Gol in the 13th minute of play. Luan Moreira came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Barbosa could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto dos Santos in the 18th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto dos Santos in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flamengo FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severino Novaes was slow to take the kick. During this time Galo do Cerrado's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Moreira got free with Vicente Barbosa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Galo do Cerrado's Erasmo Dias got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Dênis Loureiro made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luan Moreira immediately put the ball in play. Erasmo Dias hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Vicente Barbosa came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FSCMZ's Luan Moreira. But to his dismay, Luan Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto dos Santos to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Beto dos Santos came free, but Silas Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Gol in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goal looked a bit too open when Gui Souza came free, but Vicente Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe Nascimento went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Silas Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Beto dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silas Carneiro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After 79 minutes Flamengo FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Severino Novaes who took care of the corner kick. In the 80thth minute of the game Beto dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Best Gol in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Luan Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Galo do Cerrado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
