Paulo Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deivid de Salles's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid de Salles in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Leão saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chu Yun Lei in the 16th minute of play. Paulo Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zafran Chien-Kwan in the 22nd minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Paulo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid de Salles came free, but Paulo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catadão's Jardel Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio-Roberto Dinamite in the 53rd minute of play. Jardel Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Terra in the 54th minute of the match. Deivid de Salless short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Paulo Leão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, Catadão's Zafran Chien-Kwan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Catadão booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio-Roberto Dinamite didn't get a good kick on the ball.
