Saad Dar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Club Athletico Paulistano's Rafinha Trancoso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 15th minute Fabinho dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Hudson might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Acácio Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris Hudson ran back to his position shaking his head. Iuri Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vertiplano FC's goalkeeper Iuri Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Club Athletico Paulistano were awarded a corner. Saad Dar went to the cornerflag to take it. Saad Dar made a great header on Club Athletico Paulistano's corner, it was just that Vertiplano FC's Iuri Silva managed to reach the ball for a save. Edmílson Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabinho dos Santos to make the kick off. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Hudson in the 54th minute of play. Iuri Silva made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Fabinho dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Fabinho dos Santos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Iuri Silva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabinho dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 96th minute of the match Chris Hudson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Acácio Lara skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vertiplano FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
