Kauan Pena made a great header on GynBsb's corner, it was just that Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vivaldo Fernandes to make the kick off. Frederico Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Vianna's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The supporters of GynBsb booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GynBsb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frederico Bertassi. That made the score 3-2 after 84 minutes of play. Frederico Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês Donato in the 90th minute. Andre-Yann Dospel lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 92nd minute, one of Wambalamba FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wambalamba FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Souto got free with Frederico Bertassi in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wambalamba FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
