Andrézinho Viana made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jan Piatek sent off a good shot on target. Franklin Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Neno Ruychev got free with Gino Tonić in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franklin Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gino Tonić made a huge save. Andrézinho Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velin Golubarev in the 58th minute of the match. Luiz Capixaba lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A nice corner shot did that Fondas Agritis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gino Tonić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
