Matías Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Steckamp in the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the BlacK & BlueS defense, Juarês Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matías Domingues. The BlacK & BlueS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matías Domingues should have stopped the shot. Matías Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Steckamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 30th minute, João Carlos Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Donato in the 31st minute of play forced BlacK & BlueS's goalkeeper Matías Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Fernandinho Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cris Courtois came out of the goal and Fernandinho Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Robin Steckamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Matías Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Donato in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute Juarês Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Steckamp to make the kick off. BlacK & BlueS's Hílton Barral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by João Carlos Vianna in the 51 minute of the game. After 52 played minutes BlacK & BlueS got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Céleste. In the 53rd minute, Robin Steckamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 58th minute, Gabriel Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, BlacK & BlueS's Fernandinho Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cris Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Juarês Donato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matías Domingues. The goal made the score 0-4. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when BlacK & BlueS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to BlacK & BlueS getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ronan Clavel hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes, Wambalamba FC's Brian Finnman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matías Domingues came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wambalamba FC reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wambalamba FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
